Add a 'Weaning' / 'Weaned' / Grow-outs section
I think there should be a button in a litter's section where you can click that you have weaned the kits,
If the kits die after the weaning date, I don't think it should bring down the mother's survival rate because technically the mom is no longer with the babies and could not have done anything. This is where the 'Weaned' section would come in handy, that way to could also tell you the percentage of weaned kits that don't make it.

I'd love to see the ability to move kits from active litters, into a grow out category. That way they don't show as active breeders, nor do they show as active litters (thus cluttering up both sections). -

GerritI would like to add the weight for the litter at the time of weaning as well. Along with a report for all weaned kits for the day\week.

ZekeThis would be an awesome feature. I regularly keep my litters well past weaning age before I choose my holdbacks. It's kinda annoying seeing all the litter profiles for adult or near adult animals when I just want to see my actual litters with their dam still.

andreaI too agree that deaths after weaning date should not count towards the doe's kit death rate

Carmen Rhodes MergedTo have the ability to place cages (the amount according to what you have) then to allocate weaners to each cage. This will help with the allocation of weaners to each cage in order to know where each are and what cages are open or in use.
E.g. I make cages A to C which are always in my weaners tab. Then I can place 4 weaners in cage A and 2 in B. See that they are there with all their info then can see cage A and B are occupied and cage C is empty. Then when the weaners are sold/slaughtered, then the cage is considered open again. -

MollyYeah I need a grow out section. I haven't decided they're staying yet but they've made the first or second cut and may replace breeders in the future.

Everbreed Admin AdminWe have now updated the Litters page to have new tabs for Kits and Cages, allowing you to group kits by cage rather than by birth litter. So if you have specific cages used for grow-outs, you can now perform actions on all the kits in that cage at once, for example. There were some other features requested here regarding grow-outs that we haven't created yet, such as reports for tracking successful weanings, but let us know what you think of these changes and what else you'd like to see to make it easier for you to track your grow-outs.

ZiadWeaning should be an automatic feature in the litter, once the litter is weaned it should only show in the history of the dam rather than in active litters, I would like to see the actual number of kits under the dam.

Alivia MergedI totally agree. also, if one dies after weaning, I don't want it to count against my doe's survival rate.

Shawna MergedI would love to see a "weaned" or "grow out" section for young rabbits that are no longer with the doe, haven't been sold or butchered, but are just growing in your barn. They may or may not be breeders, yet or ever, but they still exist.
After they are weaned, their deaths also should not count against the doe. If I have a 4 month old "kit" that up and dies on a random Tuesday, that is NOT the doe's fault. -
